Explore the future of sustainable fashion and textiles 23 February - 21 March 2024
Join us for a fun and immersive workshop, exploring cutting-edge repair technology and it's impact on our future.
Our researchers at the Royal College of Art and UCL are hosting an exciting new workshop where we will be mapping the future of repair.
These workshops are led by the Consumer Experience Digital Tools for Dematerialisation for the Circular Economy research project funded by EPSRC, Digital Economy Sustainable Digital Society.
We will play with fabric, view demonstrations of cutting-edge repair technology and explore how these advances will shape our lives in the future. Your involvement will help our researchers understand how to tailor this work to reflect the values and needs of the general public, ensuring that our shared vision is accurate for all. You will be rewarded with a voucher, as our thank you for your time and involvement in our workshop.
This event will be held in our Hangar Space at Battersea Campus.
Sign up and location details are here.
We are pleased to announce additional dates for our open house sessions at the Royal College of Art this Saturday 3rd February and Thursday 8th February.
The Regenerative Fashion Hub showcases circular bio-based textile designs, product and consumer experience designs, and alternative local economy supply chain systems based on a 'social production network'.
