Announcement: Regenerative Fashion Hub arrives on the high street

We are proud to announce that the Regenerative Fashion Hub will be starting a month-long residency at Rich Mix, Shoreditch, London between Friday 22nd February to Thursday 21st March.

The Regenerative Fashion Hub is an on-the-high street showcase of the academic research of the Textiles Circularity Centre on sustainable apparel-textiles, to engage the public, industry, NGOs and government in discussion, research and knowledge-exchange.

The Regenerative Fashion Hub will host talks, ‘open house’ sessions, and research and knowledge exchange activities. We are on the high street in order to connect directly with consumers.

We invite you to:

  • Interact with changemakers on important issues relating to the circularity of apparel-textiles.
  • Experience new ways in which to interact with materials and each other in the fashion system. All are invited to our inaugural Open House.

We will be opening our doors for the first time to welcome all of our community to experience the exhibition, no RSVP needed.

When: Saturday 24th February, 12pm – 5pm

Where: Rich Mix, 35-47 Bethnal Green Rd, London E1 6LA

A message from Rich Mix

We are Rich Mix – a vital creative hub in the heart of east London.

We are one of the capital’s most diverse and dynamic arts centres. Rooted in the city but open to the world, we feature the best live music, theatre, dance, visual arts and film, presented across three performance spaces and a three-screen cinema in our landmark five-floor Shoreditch home.

We are champions of artists with something to say. Proudly mixing the local with the global, we present new work by a vast cast of new, emerging and established artists from across society – speaking vividly and authentically of the joys, challenges and realities of 21st-century life.

We are a true creative hub – for our artists, for our diverse and dedicated audiences and for the many creative enterprises resident in our building. Our pioneering learning and participation programmes bring people from east London and beyond into close, direct and life-changing contact with the arts.

We are a charity. All our profits go back into supporting our mission – inspiring the communities of the world who live in London to come together to make, debate and experience art and culture.
