Danielle Barrios-O'Neill is a researcher and practitioner in information experience design, with particular interest in creative systems approaches to design, pedagogy and arts practice. Her work uses analog and digital together to produce experiences that explore complexity while capturing the imagination, with the goal of enabling audiences to construct usable knowledge for everyday conversations and transformations. She is especially interested in the capacity of unconventional forms of interaction and social world-building to inform societal and planetary futures. She designs and produces games, and has published in journals as diverse as Textual Practice, Pedagogy and Futures on topics related to experience design and societal change.
