Our research proposes a ‘Social Production Network’ model that uses waste for clean, on-demand textile production that is designed for reuse and regeneration, creates supply chains with closed loop resource flows, and offers consumer design that gives people agency to participate in the circular economy.

Results of our research include policy-influencing insights on clothing flows and social models of production; innovative environmentally-friendly processes for textile generation, dyeing and reinforcement; and practical toolkits that support fashion professionals to reposition circularity for wellbeing to catalyse sustainable behaviours.
